GraceToOvecome.org Mission Statement
The mission of GraceToOvercome.org is to expose one of Satan’s lies that will cause many to be lost. Satan’s lie is: “We cannot overcome sin and everyone will continue to sin until Jesus comes.” There a controversy between good and evil; a great controversy between God and Satan. God says: “if ye love me, keep my commandments.” Satan says: God’s commandments cannot be kept. The Bible & the Spirit of Prophecy clearly teach that we must overcome sin by God’s Grace, that is, God’s forgiveness and enabling power to stop sinning. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” -1 John 1:9 “…unto Him who is able to keep you from falling…” Jude 1:24. God’s people will perfectly represent His character. God‘s character is outlined in the 10 Commandments. Sin is transgressing God’s 10 commandment law. “God’s people” will overcome sin otherwise Satan wins the great controversy. If you have read the last book of the Bible you know God wins the great controversy! If God was going to wave a magic wand and pronounce us “Righteous” even though we still have spotted garments, He could have done so already. But God can not lie. God will clean us up when we cooperate with Him.
GraceToOvercome.org is dedicated to present Bible and Spirit of Prophecy quotes that show it is possible and even necessary for God’s people to overcome sin. GraceToOvercome.org seeks to WARN people of the “Devil’s strategy” to deceive them so they will not be ready when Jesus comes.
GraceToOvercome.org encourages everyone to read and listen to the Bible. It is Gods word. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. -Psalm 119:105. We get to know God by spending time reading and listening to His word. The Bible reveals Gods character to us and transforms our character at the same time. It is the source of strength and truth, it offers us promises, it builds faith, and offers grace, which is, God’s forgiveness and enabling power to overcome every sin. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
-Psalm 119:11. Jesus often quoted scripture. He came to this earth to show us how to overcome sin and defeat the devil. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, one of the keys Jesus used to overcame the devil was by quoting scripture. When we are tempted, we must do the same.
The Bible says: “Put on the full armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” -Ephesians 6:11. Gods armor includes the Belt of truth, Breastplate of righteousness, Shoes of the gospel of peace, Shield of faith, Helmet of salvation and the Sword of the spirit. -Ephesians 6:10-18. All the Armor of God can be yours by reading and getting to know the word of God for yourself. Jesus is like the best teacher you had in school who gives you the answers to the test. The Bible is the answer sheet for the ultimate life tests Satan will confront you with. If you do not spend time and get to know the answers from your Bible, you will fail each test. Let’s study the Bible to know what God has in store for us, know His promises, know what His will is for our lives and to know the conditions of salvation.
GraceToOvercome.org posts video testimonies on this website that demonstrate how God has given individuals victory in their lives. We also have a children’s activity section with printable coloring pages, games, short stories, puzzles, word searches, songs etc. and the theme of all the activities will be overcoming sin. GraceToOvercome.org believes that time is short and Jesus will soon stand up and say: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” -Revelation 22:11 At that point, it will be too late to change course. Like when God shut the door on the Ark the people that were in the ark were safe and those on the outside the Ark were doomed. Everyone will have decided if they wish to cooperate with God and overcome sin and live with Jusus in Heaven or if they refuse to overcome and be burned up in the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Now is the time to set aside every weight that so easily besets us. Gods people will have washed their robes in the perfect blood of the lamb. We must cooperate with God. We cannot do this in our own strength. We must have God’s Grace to overcome. Grace = God’s forgiveness & enabling power to overcome every defect of character.
